Welcome to FromRimToHub.com!

This is the first ever FromRimToHub, and we (a team of three) are very proud that it’s reached and passed it’s first birthday—as our first website, that’s something to be proud of. Right now the site brings you continual updates on news related to Discworld, and we want to take drastic steps this summer (and then fall and winter and spring and so on) toward increasing the site’s content and entertainment value as a fan site.

AMAP is our watchword: As Much (and as well) As Possible. A certain Moist von Lipwig said it right: “Run before you walk! Fly before you crawl!” (Of course, if anyone would like to help us do that … we’d love that. We really would.)

The News Will Make You Fret (ah … I mean, Free)! And with that aim in mind, we’ve categorized and sub-categorized the news entries extensively so the archives are easy to use. The master list of news categories can be found here. You can also easily get news updates via our blogs, at LiveJournal, Xanga, Vox, Blogspot, MySpace, and Facebook.

Marginally related news items: These are always fun. Discworld gets mentioned all the time, sometimes in not-so-apropos articles. So we have links on the side (–>) under the News Tangents section to marginally related news items, many of which are interesting, to say the least.

Discworld is big in the blogging scene, so again, some links to interesting Discworld-related blog entries are on the side. The topics vary from apple cider all the way to book reviews, so have fun!
