Hogfather Release/Airing Dates and Information

General

• Hogfather collected amazing viewing numbers: 2.4 million for the first part (a record-breaking number) and 1.5 million for the second.
• Terry Pratchett’s Hogfather made its U.S. debut as part of RHI Movie Weekend on Ion Television on Sunday, November 25, 2007, at 6 or 7 p.m., depending on location.
• Ion Television re-aired the Hogfather adaptation December 11 and 12, 2007, at 9 p.m.
• Ion Television aired Hogfather for the third time in the United States, as part of RHI Movie Weekend on Sunday, December 23 at 7/6c. It was Hogfather’s third U.S. airing in less than a month since its U.S. debut November 25.
• Terry Pratchett’s Hogfather was broadcasted again in England on 24th and 25th of December of 2007 at 8 p.m. on channels 106 and 175 (SkyOne and SkyOne HD).

DVD Information

• The first DVD was released as a Region II DVD in the United Kingdom. American (Region I) DVDs were first available at Borders only, and became available for wide release March 4, 2008.
• The limited collector’s edition DVD includes a special note to fans from Terry Pratchett and an easter egg, which can be used to unlock additional content on the official DVD site (see below).
• The normal U.K. DVD includes the “Making of Hogfather” featurette (also available on iTunes as a podcast), deleted scenes, podcasts, the TV spot, and a stills gallery.
• The official DVD site, www.hogfatherdvd.com, includes some fun, if goofy games and numerous clips from the feature.
