2008: The 25th anniversary of the Discworld series!
Several films have been adapted from the books in Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series, including two animated features and a live action version of Hogfather.¬†Most recently, a¬†live action adaptation of The Colour Of Magic and The Light Fantastic, titled simply The Colour Of Magic, was aired March 23-24, 2008.¬† Terry Pratchett has a cameo in both adaptations.
The next planned film is one based on Going Postal.

Although The Colour Of Magic was good, it’s not nearly as good as The Hogfather
Really? Most people think it was better. I do think some of the humor was a little too cheap in The Colour Of Magic, but I think it was easier for non-Discworld fans to follow.
