The illustrated screenplay for the Colour of Magic adaptation is now available for pre-order on Amazon, with a price of 11 pounds on the U.K. version of the site. (No price is yet available on the American Amazon). The 196-page hardcover screenplay (full title “The Colour of Magic: The Illustrated Screenplay”) is published by Gollancz, and has a recorded release date of March 6, 2008. No cover art is yet available.

When are they going to get a clue? We’re all thirsting for production images from the film! Some cover art for the screnplay would have sufficed.
I wouldn’t mind an illustrated edition. Maybe then the dryads wouldn’t look like something ripped out of Star Trek and all the beards would be the same colors.
In truth, the filmmakers haven’t been very creative visually. The poster was at least *inspired* by lotr, if not more. I still can’t tell what dryads you’re talking about.
